Indications
Siporem (Siponimod 0,25 mg y 2 mg) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), including clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), and active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS)..
Posology
The recommended maintenance dose is 2 mg once daily (1 mg in patients with CYP2C9*2*3 or *1*3 genotypes). A 5-day stepwise titration regimen is required: Days 1-2: 0.25 mg once daily; Day 3: 0.5 mg; Day 4: 0.75 mg; Day 5: 1.25 mg; Day 6 and thereafter: maintenance dose.
